Wie jedes kleine Mädchen träumte auch ich immer davon, mein ganzes Leben mit Pferden zu verbringen. Ich habe jedes Buch über Pferde verschlungen, habe mir ein Pferd wie Black Beauty und einen Hund wie Lessie gewünscht. Doch natürlich wird man realistischer, je älter man wird. Nach einer gescheiterten Ausbildung, einer weiteren erfolgreichen, einem angefangenen Studium und absolut keinerlei Berufserfahrung, gab ich die Hoffnung meiner Eltern auf - aus mir konnte nichts vernünftiges werden. ICH BRAUCHTE PFERDE! Und so musste es natürlich geschehen, dass ich mit strahlenden Augen direkt den Zuchtstall Moorwiesen ansprang, als dieser zum Verkauf stand. Und seht mal an: Ich finde, aus mir ist doch was ganz vernünftiges geworden.
Man kann Anja nicht anders beschreiben, als zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sie ist immer um ein gutes Arbeitsklima und vor allem jede Menge Spaß bei der Arbeit bemüht. Ihr ist es wichtig, dass sich ihre Kollegen darüber freuen, mit den Pferden zu arbeiten und es nicht machen, weil es ein weiterer Tag im Jahr ist, an dem sie morgens früh aufstehen, um ihr Geld zu verdienen. Ebenso wichtig ist ihr aber auch die Gesundheit und die nach Möglichkeit artgerechte Beschäftigung und Unterbringung ihrer Pferde. Auch nicht selten erwischt man die Hofleitung mit einer Mistgabel in der Hand oder einer Karre voll Mist vor sich her. Anpacken war für sie noch nie das Problem und wenn Arbeit anfällt, muss sie nun mal erledigt werden.
