Polarstern ist ein liebes und sehr zutrauliches Pony. Neugierig erwartet er seine Menschen, die ihm Futter bringen, ihn auf die Koppel lassen oder mit ihm arbeiten. Obwohl sich der junge Hengst im Springsport begabter zeigt, kann er doch etwas zickig werden, wenn es im Parcours nicht nach seinen Vorstellungen geht. Auf neue Pferde geht Polar mutig zu, von raschen Freundschaften hält er aber weniger. Er testet seine Koppelkameraden sehr genau aus, lässt sich nichts einfach so gefallen und versteht ein Nein erst wenn es wirklich ernst gemeint ist. Im Allgemeinen ist er aber ein liebenswertes Pony, dass aber noch einiges lernen muss.
