Devaki HS ist ein ziemlicher Wirbelwind der ziemlich ungestüm sein kann. Dennoch hat er soviel Charme das man ihn mögen muss. Er ist stets aufgeschlossen, neugierig und freundlich. Er lässt sich so schnell nicht von Dingen abbringen die ihn interessieren.
Mit anderen Pferden kommt er gut klar auch wenn er am Anfang gern mal die Herde aufmischt. Aber meist ist er ziemlich sozial und kommt selbst mit Hengsten entspannt aus.

Sein Name bedeutet übrings aus dem indianischen übersetzt „Schwarz“.
