Von der Fellfarbe her ein normaler Fuchs, vom Körperbau ein schlankes Warmblut – und dennoch hat Nevermynt etwas an sich, das Besucher zweimal hinsehen lässt. Der Wallach wirkt stolz, nicht im überheblichen Sinn, sondern einfach gelassen und zufrieden mit seiner Situation. Bei Fremden ist er manchmal etwas schüchtern, ebenso wie er neue Aufgaben anfangs etwas unsicher angeht. Bald jedoch findet er seine Selbstsicherheit und Routine wieder, was sich sehr positiv auf die Arbeit mit dem Wallach auswirkt. Im Umgang macht Nevermynt eigentlich nie Probleme, er ist – genauso wie unter dem Sattel – brav und arbeitet eigentlich nie gegen den Menschen. Er hat gute Grundgangarten und ein Gefühl dafür, diese von selbst in schöner Aufrichtung zu präsentieren. Seine Dressurvorstellungen sind geprägt von Ausdrucksstärke und Trittsicherheit, aber auch wenn Hindernisse am Platz stehen, verliert der Fuchs nicht den Kopf, sondern absolviert Springparcours in gewohnter Souveränität. Bleibt nur noch zu sagen, dass Nevermynt auch im Gelände kaum schreckhaft ist, sich problemlos verladen lässt und selbstverständlich schmiedefromm ist.\r\nCharakter geschrieben von Nanni von GEGEN-BILDERKLAU
