"Wertvoll ist nur, was man sich erarbeiten muss" trifft auf wenige Pferde so sehr zu wie auf Jassy. Die junge Stute ist 1,44m geballtes Selbstbewusstsein. Sie braucht klare Regeln und einen energischen Reiter der sich durchzusetzen weiß und nicht zu zimperlich ist. Dann hat man den ersten Schritt geschafft und kann sich an der Herausforderung Jassy versuchen. Doch nun kommt die nächste Schwierigkeit: Andere Pferde. Denn die Connemarastute lässt sich leicht ablenken, wird in Gegenwart mancher Pferde sehr nervös oder in Gegenwart anderer zur absoluten Zicke. Zuhause ist es am einfachsten, einen ruhigen Moment abzupassen und Jassy in Abwesenheit ihrer Artgenossen zu trainieren. Spätestens bei Turnieren muss man sich jedoch darauf einlassen und gegebenenfalls den ein oder anderen Kampf austragen.

Wer auch hierran nicht gescheitert ist, steht vor einer letzten Hürde. Denn das kleine Ponystütchen verbirgt in sich ein Gangwerk, das seinesgleichen sucht. Wie schon ihr Vater zeigt Jassy viel Schwung und Schubkraft aus der Hinterhand, raumgreifende Schritte und einen schön mitschwingenden Rücken. Für einen Reitanfänger eine echte Schwierigkeit. Doch wer schon lang genug dabei ist alle anderen Probleme mit Jassy zu bewältigen sollte auch mit sowas zurecht kommen. Und nun sind wir endlich am Ziel unserer Schatzsuche angekommen, denn eigentlich ist Jassy ein wahrer Schatz. Sie ist leistungswillig und kann sehr konzentriert mitarbeiten. Ihre Reaktionen sind flink und promt, selten haben wir ein junges Pferd gesehen dass von sich aus so vertrauensvoll ans Gebiss heran tritt und den Hals hergibt. Wie schon ihre Mutter ist Jassy in der Dressur stets durchlässig und ein Traum fürs Auge. Doch wer nun am Sprung ein absolutes Schusselchen vermutet, unterschätzt diese Connemara Stute. Denn trotz aller Dressurbegabung schafft sie es auch noch Verstand und Mut im Parcour und einen eleganten Springstil mit zu bringen.
