Mit Findus kommt Leben in den Stall. Der junge Haflinger ist immer aktiv, bei allem dabei und zeigt viel Neugierde. Für ihn scheint es nur eins zu geben – Laufen, laufen, laufen. Er steckt seinen Kopf von selbst ins Halfter, hebt die Hufe wenn er weiß dass es Zeit zum Auskratzen ist und folgt einem sofort sobald man los will, nur damit er so schnell wie möglich los laufen darf. Dem entsprechend temperamentvoll ist er besonders am Anfang des Trainings, manchmal muss man ihn erstmal einige Runden einfach nur laufen lassen, bevor er sich konzentrieren kann und gut mitarbeitet.
Dann ist er aber eine reine Freude. Er hat schöne Gänge und ist bequem zu sitzen, sein Ehrgeiz ist in der Dressur ebenso wie beim Springen ungebremst und er müht sich wirklich ab. Aber auch im Gelände oder einfach nur bei der Bodenarbeit ist Findus immer aktiv dabei und will sich von seiner besten Seite zeigen.

In jedem kann man sich irren - so wie wir in dem jungen Hof, der uns Findus abkaufte. Professionelle Förderung, Turnierteilnahme und natürlich der Zuchteinsatz - alles sollte ihm geboten werden. Auch sein neues Zuhause sah blendend aus, eine große Box mit Paddock und eigener Koppel. Doch leider war es mehr guter Vorsatz als irgendwas anders und heute, 3 Jahre später, ist Findus wieder bei uns. Der inzwischen 5jährige hat keine weitere Ausbildung genossen und selbst das was er bei uns gekannt hat, sprich die Fohlengrunderziehung und erste Anfänge in der Bodenarbeit, hat er lange nicht mehr gemacht.
Doch immerhin seine Haltung war gut, so dass der junge Hengst wohlgenährt und gut bemuskelt bei uns ankam und wir direkt wieder ins Training einsteigen konnten. Einige Wochen später zeigt er sich nun schon sehr interessiert in der Bodenarbeit und hat auch seine Manieren wieder gefunden. Doch ist er noch sehr nervig - das junge Energiebündel ist einfach unterbeschäftigt. Deshalb werden wir bald mit dem Beritt beginnen und hoffen dann, dass er endlich ein schönes Zuhause finden kann.
