Spicy Pepper hat noch ein wenig mehr Pepp als ihre Mutter. Temperamentvoll, selbstbewusst und durch Nichts aus der Ruhe zu bringen. Ihr Mut und ihre Stärke sich selber einzuschätzen ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis im Parcours und im Gelände. Man sollte jedoch nicht unterschätzen, dass ihr Arbeitswille und das hohe Tempo nicht von jedem leicht zu händeln ist. Man muss ihr die Richtung vorgeben und dafür sorgen, dass sie das auch einhält. Denn Spicy Pepper glaubt manchmal selber besser zu wissen, was sie tun soll. Ohne tägliches Training wird Spicy ungenießbar, bockt und lässt ihren Dampf ab, ganz egal, was der Reiter fordert. Daher ist es bei ihr besonders wichtig auf ein ausgeglichenes, förderndes Training zu achten und ihr auch die Weidezeit mit Artgenossen und Spielzeug aufregend zu gestalten. Freispringen ist ihre heimliche Leidenschaft, dort kann sie einfach die Sau rauslassen und keiner ist da, der sie begrenzt oder zurück hält. Sie schnaubt und wiehert und bockt ganz gerne vor Freude, lässt sich aber nach ein paar Sprüngen auch entspannt wieder einsammeln.
Hat man den ersten Energiestau erst einmal abgebaut, arbeitet sie gut und konzentriert mit. Sie verliert zwar gerne mal den Kontakt zum Reiter, doch da liegt es an eben diesem, den Kontakt aufrecht zu erhalten und sie wieder einzusammeln. Durch ihre grenzenlose Energie und der unglaublichen Kraft eignet sie sich fürs Springen besser als für die Dressur, jedoch lässt sie sich auch in Dressurübungen gut sehen. Im Gelände wird sie eine ordentliche Rennsau und muss von Anfang bis Ende reguliert werden. Wer sie einmal laufen lässt, wird seine Probleme haben sie wieder aufzugreifen. Denn zur Not wird eben in den Himmel gestarrt, hauptsache in die Freiheit laufen. Auch mit anderen Pferden in der Gruppe ist sie eher unhaltbar und will an forderster Spitze laufen. Als Zuchtstute wird sie sicherlich ihre Fohlen ordentlich auf Trab halten und auch die anderen Pferde nicht ungeachtet lassen. Dennoch sind wir uns sicher, dass sie ihren Nachwuchs genau so gut großziehen wird, wie ihre Mutter es schon getan hat.
