Mira ist eine ausgesprochen sportliche Connemarastute mit enormer Galoppade. Sie ist ausgesprochen trittsicher und mutig, eignet sich neben dem normalen Springparcour daher auch gut fürs Gelände. Sie arbeitet immer konzentriert mit und kann im richtigen Moment eine angenehme Portion Temperament vorweisen, die aber nie die Überhand über ihr Verhalten gewinnt.
Mira ist sehr nervenstark und trägt auch unsichere Reiter sicher durch die Prüfung, obwohl sie sehr selbtsicher ist würde sie eine Schwäche nie ausnutzen. Dafür ist sie einfach zu sehr bei der Sache und zu sehr bemüht, immer das Beste rauszuholen. Auch im Alltag ist sie nie anstrengend sondern stets aufmerksam und geduldig. Mit anderen Pferden zeigt sie sich sozial und trotz ihres Selbstbewusstseins kann sie sich unterordnen.
Sie zeigt sich jedoch in jeder Lebenssituation ausgesprochen kitzelig. Sei es beim putzen oder satteln, Hufeisen anpassen oder Impfung geben - jede Berührung wird von Mira mit einem argwöhnischen Ohrenzucken quittiert und man sollte beherzt zugreifen. Außerdem ist Mira sehr schwierig an Wasser heran zu bekommen. Nur wer sich wirklich durchsetzen kann, bekommt die Stute durch einen Bach geritten und am Waschplatz hat sie sich schon einige Male losgerissen.
