Mit Grazie und Schwung beeindruckt Latina jeden Reiter und jeden Richter. Wo sie im ersten Moment "Typisch Pony" aussieht, ist sie im nächsten Moment eine absolut Sportkanone. Man mag kaum glauben, dass ihre Leistungen im Sport bis Dressur M und im Springen bis zum Bereich L reichen. Dennoch zeigt sie viel Ehrgeiz und Siegeswillen, was sie einfach so erfolgreich macht. Ihr spritziger Charakter macht sie zu einem spannenden und herzerobernden Partner. Wenn sie Leistungen zeigen darf, tut sie das auch. Wenn man nur so im Kreis herum tümpelt und gar nicht so recht arbeitet, dann entspannt sie sich direkt und lässt die Zeit verstreichen.
Im Gelände hingegen ist sie immer mit Feuer unterwegs und man muss sie schon stark zügeln, damit sie einen nicht unterm Hintern davon läuft. Doch das ist kein Problem, denn Latina lässt sich zügeln. Meistens zumindest. In einer Gruppe ist sie oft sehr fixiert auf die anderen Pferde und lässt sich leichter von ihnen, als vom Reiter beeinflussen. Wenn eines losrennt, würde sie also glatt hinterher laufen. Mit etwas Durchsetzungsvermögen - wie es bei Ponys normal auch gebraucht wird - ist sie aber leicht zu händeln und zur Ruhe zu bringen. Auf Turnieren hingegen zeigt sie dieses Verhalten nicht. Ob in der Gruppe oder alleine, sie benimmt sich gut und zeigt was in ihr steckt. Jugendliche und Erwachsene gleichermaßen können mit ihr Preise abstauben.
