Sunny ist eine eher schüchterne Maus. Sie geht eher einen Schritt zurück als nach vorne und es bedarf sehr viel Liebe und Geduld sie an neue Sachen zu gewöhnen. Sie geht sehr vorsichtig durch die Welt und versucht sich aus jeden Streit rauszuhalten. Meistens gelingt ihr das auch. In der Rangordnung steht sie ganz unten, was sie meistens aber auch nicht stört, außer wenn es um Futter geht. Da ist sie dann doch meist vorn mit dabei und verteidigt „ihren“ Heu- Platz auf der Weide gnadenlos gegen die ganzen Großen. Bei neuen Bekanntschaften, egal ob Pferde, Menschen oder andere Tiere ist sie meistens eher vorsichtig. Die einzige Ausnahme bilden Katzen. Sie scheinen ihr komischer Weise immer direkt gut zu gefallen. Da kommt es tatsächlich schon mal vor, dass man morgens in den Stall kommt und eine unserer Hofkatzen auf Sunnys rücken schläft. Das stößt natürlich bei allen Besuchern sofort auf Begeisterung. Doch sobald mehr als 2 Menschen vor ihrer Box rumturnen verzieht sie sich meist in die hinterste Ecke ihres Stalles. Wenn sie allerdings tiefes Vertrauen in einen Gefasst hat, kann man so gut wie alles mit ihr machen. Für ihr Alter ist sie da wirklich schon sehr ruhig. In der Halle kann man mittlerweile schon ohne Halfter und Strick arbeiten. Sie reagiert sehr sensibel auf die Stimmung ihres Betreuers und auf alle seine Bewegungen. Dann kommt es auch vor das sie versucht manche Bewegungen nach zu machen. Sie folgt einem auch und auch auf Kommando stehen bleiben ist für sie überhaupt kein Problem. Sie ist eben eine kleine, schüchterne, putzige Maus.
