Diamond vereint sportliches Talent und Arbeitswillen mit eindeutig einwandfreier Springmanier. Als Siegerhengst dr regionalen Leistungsprüfung ist er im Hauptbuch I eingetragen, was eindeutig für ihn spricht. Mit Gelassenheit trägt er seinen Reiter über die Hindernisse und seine Lernfähigkeit fördern ihn immer weiter, so dass eine Ausbildung bei ihm ein leichtes Spiel ist. Die Reitqualität ist mit seinen gut ausgeprägten und wundervollen Grundgangarten unbestritten. Mit seinem hübschen Kopf und den unglaublich langen Beinen weiß er noch jeden um den Finger zu wickeln, besonders aber Hindernisse zu überwinden.
Mit einer Wertnote von 7,9 hat er sich be ider Hengstleistungsprüfung durchgesetzt und damit auch einige Warmblüter im Springen hinter sich gelassen. Auch sein Charakter ist vorbildlich. Zwar ist er in Stutennähe etwas durchgeknallt, verbeißt dann andere Pferde und wird unruhig, will am liebsten zu der Herzensdame preschen, allerdings bleibt er tatsächlich händelbar und lässt sich weiterhin reiten und auch an der Hand führen. Man sollte nur einen gewissen Abstand zu den Stuten halten, damit er nicht doch noch auf falsche Gedanken kommt. Ohne Stutennähe ist er sehr verträglich und steht auch in einer kleinen Hengstherde auf den großen Weiden, wo er nie ärger macht, sich aber auch eher mittig in der Rangfolge einordnet.
