Papagena wirkt auf fremde Personen auf dem ersten Blick sehr mutig und selbsbewusst, wenn man sie dann allerdings kennenlernt, merkt man, dass man sich da ziemlich getäuscht hat. Sie Stute ist sehr zurückhaltend und vor allem sehr sensibel. Papagena war eine große Herausforderung, da sie vor jedem Hindernis gescheut hatte. Man muss der Stute also viel Zeit und Vertrauen schenken. Es dauert also sehr lange, bis Papagena einen in's Herz schließt. An ihr sieht man erstmal, wie schnell man sich doch täuschen kann. Auch wenn die Stute wie schon gesagt in ihrer Springausbildung sehr viele Probleme hatte, zeigt sie doch gerade hier ihre Stärke. Aber auch in der Dressur bringt Papagena ihre Leistung. Sie muss allerdings ihrem Reiter vertrauen, denn dann zeigt sie was sie kann.
