Pierrot ist wie sein Vater sehr sozial eingestellt und verträgt sich mit jeder Art von Tier und auch Menschen haben im Umgang keine Probleme mit ihm. Er ist leistungswillig bei der Arbeit und lässt sich dort leicht händeln, auch Fahranfänger bekommen ihn gut unter Kontrolle. Sein Paradebeispiel ist der Mehrspanner, wo er bedingungslos mit jedem beliebigen Pferd als Gespannpartner starten kann und beste Leistungen zeigt. Auch wenn Pierrot lernwillig ist und sich neuen Herausforderungen stellt, braucht es einige Zeit, bis er die Aufgaben auch verinnerlicht hat und abrufen kann. Mit genügend Übung jedoch, sitzen die Aufgaben perfekt und er meistert sie bei jedem Turnier ohne Zweifel.
