Gismo ist manchmal schon ziemlich anstregend. Er lässt sich gerne ablenken und ist ständig mit dem Kopf woanders, mal bei dem, der sich mit ihm beschäftigt, mal schlägt was anderes ihn in seinen Bann. Solange man die Einheiten kurz gestaltet oder - per Zufall - etwas findet, was ihn vollkommen fesselt, kann man mit ihm gute Erfolge erzielen. Dafür sollte man dann auch überschwänglich loben und belohnen, denn das mag er eigentlich ganz gerne.
Zwischen den anderen Jungs tobt er viel und powert sich aus. Er kann sich lange mit einem Spiel beschäftigen und zeigt Durchhaltevermögen und einen Dickschädel, wenn es um kleinere Ränkeleien geht. Erkennt er, wie ernst der andere Hengst es meint, ist Gismo aber eher der, der zurückzieht. Es ist also zu erwarten, dass es mit ihm bis auf Flegelphase keine größeren Probleme in Sachen Dominanz gibt.
