Prinzessin hält sich vollkommen an ihren Namen. Sie ist nett und freundlich im Umgang, gesellig in der Herde, einnehmend in ihrem Wesen. Genießerisch lässt sie lange Putz-Arien über sich ergehen, die Beautypflege vor Schauen und auf die Vorbereitung auf Turniere.
Prinzessin kümmert sich aufopferungsvoll um ihren Nachwuchs, überschüttet ihre Fohlen mit Fürsorglichkeit und schafft es dennoch, ihren Sprössen auch genug Freiraum zur Entfaltung zu geben. Als Ergebnis zeigen alle ihre Fohlen nach dem Absetzen ein gut ausgeprägtes Sozialverhalten gegenüber Menschen und Pferden.
Unterm Sattel ist Prinzessin dann artig, manchmal aber etwas trantütig und braucht lange bis sie richtig wach und munter ist. Dann macht sie vor allem in der Dressur Spaß, denn ihre Gänge sind weich und federnd und sie steht fein an den Hilfen. Auch bei Kopfarbeit ist sie nach einer Weile gut dabei, zeigt sich interessiert und lässt sich gerne neue Sachen beibringen.
Während der Tragzeit und Fohlenaufzucht ist sie jedoch gerne launisch und zeigt sich dann auch sehr begriffsstutzig und ist für Training nicht zu haben.
