Aschenputtel ist ein sehr sportambitioniertes Pony mit viel Mut und einer großen Verlässlichkeit, Ausdauer und Trittsicherheit, was sie für Spring- und Geländeritte einzigartig gut ausweist. Sie kann sowohl ausgeglichen ruhig und konzentriert sein, als auch aufgedreht und energiegeladen, macht jedoch in beiden Fällen keine Probleme und arbeitet stets gut mit. Gerne flitzt sie auch über die Weide, bockt und macht Luftsprünge, hüpft über kleine Erdhügel oder steckt direkt die ganze Herde für wilde Verfolgungsjagten an. Ihre Fohlen zeigen sich ebenso sportbegeistert und allzeit bereit, dennoch sehr einfach im Umgang und artig im Wesen.
