Der hübsche Fuchshengst ist nicht einfach in der Handhabung aber nie bösartig. Um sich mit ihm beschäftigen zu dürfen muss man ihm von Anfang an sagen wer der Boss ist. Er ist jedoch ein toller Hengst, mit viel Charme und Verstand, manchmal ist er jedoch etwas leicht zu erschrecken, was ihn aber nicht abhält seine atemberaubenden Gänge immer zu zeigen. Er dreht gern auf, auch unterm Reiter, ist sehr temperamnetvoll und auch sein Charakter ist sehr schelmisch. Also wir haben den Kleinen da ja schon eine Weile und sein Temperament und sein Elan sind einfach nicht zu Bremsen. Beim Springen schaut das schon wieder etwas anders aus. Da er ja hier nicht in der Versammlung gehen muss, ist er etwas lockerer, aber dafür dreht er so richtig auf. Und vor der Kutsche fühlt er sich einfach am wohlsten, da er gut zieht und sich auch richtig ins Zeug legt, ist er hierfür geschaffen. Durch seine eher geringe Größe eignet er sich sehr gut für die Kutsche, oder für kleine beziehungsweise leichte Reiter. Ansonsten ist er eigentlich sehr gutmütig aber er und sein Temperament kommen jeden Tag aufs neue durch und treiben manchen Pfleger zur Weißglut. In der Nähe von Stuten ist er schwer zu handhaben und wenn man keine Probleme mit ihm haben will, dann macht man besser einen Bogen, sobald man bemerkt dass Chicco Leo eine Stute gefällt. Beim Tierarzt benimmt er sich immer wie eine Diva und obwohl er genau weiß, dass ihm nichts böses widerfährt ziert er sich und führt sich auf.
