Amira ist freundlich und sehr gutmütig gegenüber allen Lebenwesen, ob nun Mensch oder Hund, Pferd oder Katze. Im Umgang lässt sie sich nicht hetzen und wirkt manchmal etwas faul, beim Training ist jedoch leicht zu motivieren. Unter dem Sattel ist mittlerweile sehr sicher und kann die Lektionen auch unter weniger geübten Reitern gut durchführen. Allerdings kann sie unter einem guten Reiter auch mal etwas temperamentvoller werden, doch sie gibt sich Mühe, sich immer dem Können eines Reiters anzupassen. Auf Turnieren war die Stute bisher fast nie, sie hat auch keine besondere Freude daran. Mit ihrer Bezugsperson steht sie das schon durch, ja, aber wehe man möchte sie zwei Minuten alleine lassen... Turniere mit Amira sind also nur was im Privatbesitz, wo ein oder besser mehr Leute nur für sie da sind und sich nebenbei um andere Pferde auch zu kümmern haben, eventuell kommen sonst Zweispännerprüfungen in Frage. Mit elf Jahren haben wir begonnen, sie einzufahren, und schnell gemerkt, dass sie sich alleine vor der Kutsche nicht wohl fühlt. Mit einem zweiten Pferd dagegen hat sie schnell verstanden, um was es ging, und obwohl sie ihre Partnerin noch fast nicht kannte, klappte es auf Anhieb, vorallem, da Amira sich dem Nebenpferd anpasst. Aber auch ihre aufgeschlossene, aber nicht aufdringliche Art im Umgang mit Artgenossen kam ihr sehr zu Gute. Die Friesenstute ist sehr rangniedrig, schließt aber schnell neue Freundschaften und wird auch von dominanten Pferden in deren Nähe oder am gleichen Futterplatz geduldet.
