Bei Pepper hat man schon ein temperamentvolles Pony unter sich. Bei der Pflege gibt es keine Freiwilligen, beim Training ist die Beteiligung eher müßig. Dabei ist sie einfach nur feurig scharf, mit viel Tempo, Elan und Arbeitswillen. Nur genau das ist eben auch das Problem. Gegen alles was in Peppers Augen überflüssig ist oder ihr einfach zu lange dauert wird sich gewert. So ist Putzen ein Akt, der anstelle von 15 Minuten schon mal eine ganze Stunde dauern kann, nur weil sich der Reiter immer wieder mit dem Pony einig werden muss, dass ein sauberes Fell wichtig ist. Auch die ersten Schritte auf dem Platz sind in der Regel alles andere als gut. Ablongieren oder gleich Freispringen ist vor den Übungen angesagt, denn sonst ist Pepper unhaltbar. Hat man sie aber erst mal soweit, dass sich ihr Temperament kontrollieren lässt, entdeckt man auch ihr vielseitiges Potential. Denn sowohl Dressur als auch Springen liegen der Ponystute sehr gut. Springen macht ihr deutlich mehr Spaß und sie rast egal bei welchen Bedingungen im Topspeed über den Platz auf die Hindernisse zu, so dass der Reiter nur mehr lenken und regulieren muss. Wenn es nach ihr ginge könnte man nämlich Ecken anstelle von Kurven reiten. Durch ihr Gemüt eignet sie sich auch wirklich nur für erfahrene Reiter. Anfänger würden bei ihr entweder abgeworfen werden oder schlichtweg keinerlei Einwirkungen haben. Als Zuchtstute erweist sie sich erstaunlich gelassen. Das Händeln ihrer Nachkommen ist problemfrei möglich, solange sie dabei ist und alles im Blick hat. Auch ist sie bei anderen Pferden verträglich und hat ihre Fohlen stets im Herdenverband großgezogen. Ihr Vater PATRIK ist ein erfolgreicher Geländespringer. Kein Hindernis war Patrik bisher zu schwer, zu hoch oder zu matschig. Sein Mut und sein Arbeitswille ist auch auf Pepper übergesprungen. PATRICE ebenfalls ein Cremello hat seine Farbe schön dominant weitergegeben, was ihn als Farbzuchthengst bekannt gemacht hat. Alle seine Nachkommen waren Cremellos. ZVon der Mutter KYRA hat Patrik den nötigen Mut bekommen für seine Geländefähigkeiten. Denn Kyra war eine starke und erfolgreiche Geländespringerin. Ihre Mutter SALT 'N PEPPER ist eine erfahrene Zuchtstute, die ihre Fohlen immer mit viel Bedacht und Ruhe großgezogen hat, was den Fohlen ein ausgeglichenes und umgängliches Gemüt verschafft hat. Da die Mutter ebenfalls im Springsport sehr erfolgreich war, ist Pepper ein Springtalent. Sowohl im Gelände, als auch auf dem Platz im Stangenwald zeigt sie sich bereitwillig, lernbereit und hat ordentlich Sprungkraft. Der Vater POLERIAT war in der Zucht weniger bekannt, dafür auf dem Springplatz ein gefürchteter Konkurrent der Warmblüter. Das Pony war beinahe unschlagbar. Schnelligkeit und Fehlefreiheit waren sein Markenzeichen. Die Mutter SALTFISH war als Zuchtstute mit wenigen Nachkommen eher unbekannt, dafür eine liebevolle Mutter.
