Unsere lackschwarze Trakehnerstute Sundae Morning ist nicht nur eines der beliebtesten Reitschulpferde auf Zarnoch, sondern auch eine hochkarätige Zuchtstute: mit einer Gesamtnote von 8.57 erhielt Sunny die Staatsprämie und somit ihre Zulassung zum Zuchteinsatz. Äußerlich kommt Sundae Morning sehr nach ihrer Mutterstute Sirenja. Die innere Ruhe und Gelassenheit, die unsere Sunny so beliebt macht, hat sie eindeutig Sirenja zu verdanken. In der Tat ist Sundae Morning eines der sichersten Pferde hier auf Zarnoch mit einer beinahe nicht existenten Fallquote. Besonders begabt zeigt sich die inzwischen 13-jährige Stute im Dressurviereck. Zwar ist sie bislang nur Amateurturniere gegangen, doch ihre tollen Grundgangarten sichern ihr bei Dressurturnieren immer eine Menge Punkte, so dass Sundae Morning meist mit großer Sicherheit platziert wird und für Turniereinsteiger geradezu ideal ist. Sunny macht allerdings nicht nur in der Dressur eine gute Figur: auch im Parcourspringen zeigt sie sich nicht ganz unbegabt und bringt ihren Reiter sicher über jedes Hindernis. Es gibt kaum Sprünge, an denen Sunny verweigern würde. Hier zahlt sich der Vollbluteinfluss ihres Großvaters Sir Shostakovich xx aus, Vater von Best Before Morning. Letzterer hat unserer Stute eine große Portion Mut vererbt, so dass Sundae Morning auch im offenen Gelände eine Lebensversicherung beim Ausreiten darstellt. Sie wird daher gerne mal als Vorbild für junge Pferde eingesetzt, denn ihre Gelassenheit hilft unseren Nachwuchspferden selbst wesentlich ruhiger zu sein und ihre Ängste vor möglichen Ungeheuern zu überwinden.
