Corynox ist nicht nur äußerlich eine wahre Erscheinung, sondern auch innerlich. Fremden Menschen gegenüber ist er zwar erst einmal skeptisch und es dauert seine Zeit, bis er sich öffnet, aber wenn man über diesen Punkt hinaus ist, hat man einen treuen Begleiter an seiner Seite, der für den Reiter alles geben würde. Der Rappe ist mit viel Talent und Energie gesegnet, was ihn geradezu für den Springsport prädestiniert. Im Parcours ist er im Tunnel, fokussiert und nichts kann ihn ablenken. Er ist unerschrocken, selbstbewusst und mutig, gleichzeitig aber auch sehr teamfähig und er möchte stets eine harmonische Einheit mit dem Reiter bilden. Auch gegenüber anderen Pferden ist er sozial und zeigt keinerlei Hengstmanieren, kommt mit jedem zurecht und ordnet sich eher unter.
