Owena ist am liebsten im Stall oder auf der Wiese und wird nicht gestört. Man braucht lange, um zu der hübschen Schimmelstute durchzudringen, denn am liebsten hat sie ihren festen Menschen. Diesen hat sie dann auch gerne, baut eine feste Bindung auf und so lange diese Person da ist, ist es Owl dann auch egal, was um sie herum passiert.
Unterm Sattel ist sie lauffreudig und gelegentlich auch mal übermotiviert, statt sie zu bewegen steht man eher vor der Herausforderung sie mal auf ein gemäßigtes Tempo runter zu bekommen. Auch an Mut, Dinge anzugehen, mangelt es ihr nicht, manchmal wird sie jedoch ein bisschen unbedacht, daher muss man auch immer ein bisschen mit aufpassen, dass sie die Füße auch hoch genug bekommt.
