Sire to SAI 2014 Windfield Farm Reserve Homebred of the Year - WFF Grand Gesture" >Grand Affair, affectionately called "Freddie", is a gorgeous stallion with a teddy bear personality. He love playing around with people, horses, and even other animals. He's very affectionate and enjoys time with people, following them around, nuzzling against them, and going for walks. He's so friendly and forgiving under saddle and to other horses that we often use him as a companion to new horses at the farm and as a training partner to junior riders. He even keeps young horses calm at their first shows. On top of all that sweetness, he's wonderfully talented. He's now jumping at the grand prix level, and is a very correct and confident jumper. When he was younger he had a tendency to hesitate unless he thought he knew exactly what his rider wanted because he is a people-pleaser, but training has really turned made him want to help you over the jump, and less of the other way around. His sire Paninus was a world class showjumper and internationally renowned stud. Padinus's dam was also a champion grand prix showjumper and his grandsire is the famous Nimmerdor. Grand Affair has become a successful sire as well as competitor, with offspring titling in hunters and jumpers throughout All Sim.
