Rebecca kam im Dezember 2018 direkt vom Züchter Nereus Riding Center zu uns. Sie war derzeit bereits unter dem Sattel geritten und trainiert und somit konnten wir das Training direkt anknüpfen.
Vom Charakter her ist Rebecca manchmal etwas zu nervös. Ihr fehlt noch etwas Vertrauen in Ihren Reiter aber das bekommen wir mit viel Einfühlungsvermögen und der nötigen Ruhe in den Griff. Neuem steht sie anfangs eher etwas misstrauisch gegenüber. Hat man es ihr allerdings gezeigt und sie gelernt, dass keine Gefahr ausgeht kann sich Rebecca dann doch schnell beruhigen. Die nötige Neugier bringt sie nämlich mit.
Unter dem Sattel erkennt man Rebecca auch wenn man sie nicht sieht an Ihrem unterschwelligen Brummeln. Vor allem in der Aufwärmphase macht sie das ganz oft. Ist sie aber gut aufgewärmt und in der Arbeitphase, dann hört das Brummeln auf und Rebecca ist dann sehr konzentriert bei der Arbeit.
Im Umgang ist Rebecca sehr unkompliziert und umgänglich. Nur Anbinden am engen Strick mag sie nicht so gerne.
So richtig in Panik sieht man Rebecca nur, wenn sie an Balloons vorbei soll. Diese meist bunten Dinger sind ihr nicht ganz geheuer.
In der Stutenherde ist sie sehr ranghoch und neigt auch dazu, die schwächeren der Herde etwas zu unterdrücken. Gerne lässt sie dort den Boss heraushängen. Menschen gegenüber zeigt sie dieses Verhalten nicht.
