Der Hengst ist sehr aktiv und braucht tägliches Training, da er sonst Flausen in den Kopf bekommt und Unsinn verursacht. Dabei kann er, wenn er unausgelastet ist, im Stall randalieren und gegen die Boxenwände treten. Im dem Fall muss man ihn aus der Box holen und auf den Platz lassen, wo er sich austoben kann.
Geht es mit ihm auf den Springplatz, ist er extrem nervös und unruhig. Man kann mit ihm keine Runde außenrum im Schritt reiten, ohne, dass er lostrabt oder angaloppiert. Er weiß nämlich ganz genau, dass er springen darf und er liebt das sehr.
Bei Stuten hat er das typische Hengstverhalten. Er möchte um jeden Preis zu der Stute, egal wie hart der Kampf mit dem Menschen wird/ist. Dabei zeigt er sein richtiges Temperament und Algebra möchte einfach der Stute gefallen.
Auf Turnieren ist Algebra ein totales Verlasspferd. Er rettet bei unpassenden Distanzen oder Absprüngen das Hindernis, indem er sich lang macht und den ein oder anderen Fehler des Reiters verzeiht. Dennoch findet er manche Hindernisse sehr gruselig und ist bisschen guckig, aber er springt mit Skepsis darüber.
