Als wir Pollox zum ersten Mal sahen, dachten wir, wir gucken nicht richtig. Der sieht doch fast so aus wie Thatch xx, der Großvater vom Vater dieses Rapphengstes. Denn Prince Thatch xx zeigte sich durchaus als Dunkel-/Schwarzbrauner, aber bei Pollox kommt doch das Rappgen, welches auf der väterlichen Seite genügend da ist, durch. Seine Gangarten sind ordentlich, fein und schwungvoll, auch die Rittigkeit stimmt bei Pollox. Der Hannoveranerhengst wird nun noch ein paar Jährchen bei uns decken, wir erhoffen uns ein paar gute Fohlen, die in ferner Zukunft dann Pollox würdig vertreten können. Der Rapphengst lebt nach dem Motto: "Bei mir muss heute alles stimmen und nicht erst morgen", er ist ein Perfektionist durch und durch, alles was er anfängt, muss auf Anhieb klappen.Wenn etwas nicht so läuft, wie er es möchte, frisst es an ihm, dann strengt er sich beim nächsten Mal umso mehr an. Niederlagen sind für den Hengst kaum erträglich, Pollox hasst es, was anderes als Erster zu werden. Manchmal nimmt sein Ehrgeiz durchaus Überhand, als Reiter muss man dies zu händeln wissen.
