Castiel ist ein Hengst wie aus einem Märchenbuch abgepaust. Elegant und taktsicher bewegt er sich sowohl frei auf der Weide als auch unter dem Reiter und strahlt immer einen gewissen Hauch von Leichtigkeit aus, der ihm vor allem natürlich in der Dressur zu Gute kommt. Doch auch von seinem Wesen her ist der Hengst sehr angenehm und vor allem sehr ruhig und gelassen, sodass er auch auf Ausritten ein sehr sicheres Pferd darstellt und in jeder Situation einen kühlen Kopf bewahrt. Zudem will Cas seinem Reiter um jeden Preis gefallen und entpuppt sich als kleines Arbeitstier, sobald man mit ihm ins Viereck geht. Nicht das er einen spritzigen Ausritt nicht genießen würde, aber seine Leidenschaft glüht halt für die Dressur, in der er immer wieder über sich selbst hinaus wächst. Aufmerksam und gelehrig ist er immer bei der Sache und lässt sich höchstens mal durch eine Stute ablenken. Doch selbst da bleibt er immer händelbar und ist sehr angenehm vom Temperament. Als Hitzkopf kann man den Schimmel nämlich so gar nicht bezeichnen. Manchmal hat er zwar seine sturen 5 Minuten und kürzt auf Ausritten auch gern mal ab um schneller wieder in Richtung Heimat zu kommen, aber nach einer kurzen Diskussion gibt er dann auch schnell nach und ist wieder das gelassene und aufgeschlossene Pferd, als das man ihn kennt und schätzt.
