Quoi ist ein ausgesprochen neugieriger Hengst, schon als Fohlen steckte er seine Nase überall hinein und wirklich geändert hat er sich da nicht. Allerdings hat sich seine Konzentration natürlich stark gebessert, er arbeitet teilweise sehr aufmerksam mit und lässt sich im Vergleich zu früher nur mehr selten ablenken. Ab und zu, natürlich, hat er auch mal Tage wo alles andere gerade spannender ist und vorallem Stuten schaffen es immer wieder, ihn ein wenig nervös zu machen. Nach wie vor kann Quoi ganz schön dickköpfig sein, aber nach ein paar deutlichen Trainingseinheiten hat er verstanden, dass er nicht jedem auf der Nase herum tanzen kann, so wie er will. Quoi reagiert auf Druck ziemlich sensibel, mitunter auch bockig, weswegen er mit Stallburschen immer wieder Probleme hat, da er noch nicht ganz begriffen hat, dass der Mensch entscheidet, in welchem Tempo er auf welche Koppel kommt. Als wir anfingen, mit Quoi zu arbeiten, war er oft der Meinung, er müsse sich nur heftig genug aufführen, dann würden wir es uns schon noch angewöhnen, ihn sanfter anzufassen und nach seinem Willen zu gehen. Anfangs versuchte er, sich in Dominanzkämpfen zu behaupten, gab dann aber rasch nach und zeigte sich dafür unter dem Sattel als absolut nicht arbeitswillig. Ein neuer Trainer, den er nach dem Einreiten und ersten erfolglosen Prüfungen bekam, änderte sie Sache - Fabian schaffte es von Anfang an, unseren Dickkopf zu motivieren und hat rasch das Vertrauen des Hengstes gewonnen. Allerdings muss man sagen, dass Quoi wohl nie ein Freund der Dressur wird, sondern sich lieber im Springen und im Gelände beweist. Dort kann er sein Temperament besonders gut ausleben und zeigt sich auch schon sehr mutig, was neue Höhen, Weiten oder Hindernisdekorationen angeht.
