Bienvenido ist ein stattlicher Schimmelhengst, der sich zu präsentieren weiß. Im Viereck zeigt er gerne alles, was er kann, sehr gerne auch vor Publikum. Er steht fein an den Hilfen und bevorzugt Reiter mit hohem Einfühlungsvermögen, bei einer harten Hand macht er schnell dicht und arbeitet nicht mehr mit. Neue Lektionen lernt der junge Hengst recht schnell, man darf ich eben nur nicht überfordern, auch wenn er viel anbietet. Da er sehr Ehrgeizig ist, steht er sich manchmal selber damit im Weg und man muss ihn dann auch zu Lernpausen zwingen. Im Gelände ist er selbstbewusst und hat einen netten Vorwärtsdrang, den man aber jederzeit regulieren kann. Auch in der Gruppe weiß der PRE-Hengst sich zu benehmen, auch wenn er gerne mal den hübschen Stuten schöne Augen macht. Beim Hufschmied und beim Tierarzt benimmt sich Bienvenido artig und relativ geduldig, wenn es nicht allzu lange dauert. Er liebt Bodenarbeit und arbeitet auch gerne vom Kopf her mit. Dabei testet er allerdings auch gerne mal aus, wie frech er werden darf. Da muss man dann aufpassen, dass er einen nicht umrennt, ansteigt oder aus Übermut mit den Beinen trifft. Er braucht dann deutliche Anweisungen, dass er einen gewissen Abstand einhalten muss oder sich eben zu benehmen hat. Alles in allem ist Bienvenido ein temperamentvoller Hengst, der gerne arbeitet, aber auch eine feinfühlige, selbstbewusste Bezugsperson braucht.
