Apologize kommt ganz nach seiner Mutter Askarina: er ist, wenn er auf der Koppel steht, absolut unberechenbar. Man kann sich nie so genau sicher sein, ob er nur ruhig grast oder ob er schon wieder mal in der Umgebung unterwegs ist. Auf ihn muss man immer ein Auge haben, sonst macht er, was er will. Unterm Sattel zeigt der Hengst aber seine ruhige, kraftvolle Seite. Er ist mutig und sicher am Sprung und flott wie eine Gazelle im Parcours unterwegs. Zeitspringprüfungen sind für den Schimmel bestens geeignet, seine Galoppade ist weitreichend und er macht damit immer Zeit wett, die man am Sprung verbummelt hat. Apologize ist eben ein klasse Nachwuchspferd, dass sich eindeutig gegen die großen Namen des Springsports behaupten kann.
Neben Askarinas nennenswerte Mutterlinie ist auch der Vater keinesfalls zu verachten: Atlantis gehört einer jungen Reiterin, die ihn zu dem geformt hat, was er heute ist. Ein supergutes Springpferd, welches durchaus auch als Vererber in Betracht gezogen werden kann.
