Calatha ist eine sehr entspannte, unproblematische Stute. Sie zeigt sich im Umgang sehr kooperativ und ist stets artig und auf Entspannung aus. In der Herde ist sie sehr sozial und gegenüber ihren Fohlen eine liebende Mutter. Sie geht in dieser Rolle voll auf und ist am glücklichsten, wenn sie im Sommer mit ihren Nachwuchs auf der Weide stehen und die Sonne genießen kann.

Beim Training ist Calatha aufmerksam und artig, sie zeigt deutliche Vorlieben für Springtraining, aufgrund ihrer guten Mutterrolle wurde sie aber nie weit gefördert und gefordert, auch wenn sie wahrscheinlich einiges leisten könnte.

Calatha hat einen Springschwerpunkt, wurde aber schon lange nicht mehr richtig auf Leistung trainiert. Ihre Nachkommen haben alle gutes Springtalent und Calatha selbst zeigt sich sehr affin mit Hindernissen. Sportlichen Turniereinsatz hat Calatha aber nie wirklich gehabt, deswegen wird so spät auch nicht mehr damit angefangen werden.
