"Auf den ersten Blick scheint Dorian die dunklere Version von seinem Halbbruder Domino zu sein. Der Palominowallach hat die gleichen Abzeichen und scheint auch vom Talent nicht weniger zu haben als der Cremellohengst. Doch im Temperament kann man dann einen Unterschied feststellen. Dorian ist um einiges ruhiger und einfacher zu Händeln als Domino. Mit dem Goldschimmer auf dem Fell ist er gleichfalls eine Augenweide und kann sich mit seinem Halbbruder sehen lassen. Auch hier hat D'Artagnon kräftig in der Dressurtrommel gerührt und ein tolles Dressurpony entstehen lassen. Von der Mutter gab es hier statt Temperament Ausdauer mit. Dorian kann gemütliche Distanzen mit Leichtigkeit überwinden und stellt sich auch sonstigen Aufgaben mit viel Ausdauer entgegen. Dennoch ist der Palomino ein kleiner Spätzünder, weshalb sein Ausbildungsstand noch in den Kinderschuhen steckt. Doch wir denken, dass er mit viel Geduld und Arbeit auch bald in höheren Klassen starten kann."
