Die Scheckstute Here I Am trägt ihren Namen nicht zu Unrecht, denn egal wo sie auftaucht - sie steht im Mittelpunkt. Neben ihrer auffälligen Farbe strahlt die Stute immer eine enorme Selbstsicherheit und Präsenz aus und schwebt geradezu durch das Viereck oder den Parcours. Here I Am ist eine Stute, die ganz genau weiß, was sie will und versucht dieses mit Zickigkeit und Starrsinn zu bekommen. Daher ist es an ihrem Reiter sich davon nicht einschüchtern zu lassen und ihr sowohl im Umgang als auch beim Reiten zu zeigen, wer das Sagen hat, sonst tanzt die Stute einem sehr bald auf der Nase herum. Aber genauso wie sie weiß, was sie will, genauso weiß sie auch, was sie nicht will und zwar dreckig werden. Durch eine Pfütze laufen oder gar im Matsch wälzen ist etwas, was die Stute nicht freiwillig tun würde, es sei denn sie darf auf einem Turnier springen oder sie befindet sich im Geländeparcours, dann ist der Scheckstute alles andere egal.
