Die Würfel waren gefallen für das kleine Stütchen, als sie als Rappin zur Welt kam. Mama Allegretta kümmerte sich gut, die Jungstutenherde sozialisierte sie und so entfaltete Alea sich vom Entlein zum Schwan. Von dem knautschigen Fohlen ist in der schlanken Schimmelstute nichts mehr übrig, wohl aber von den Werten, die ihre Mutter ihr vermittelt hat: Sei immer höflich und stelle deine eigenen Ansprüche zurück. Tatsächlich ist Alea anspuchslos, sie erkennt zwar bekannte Gesichter wieder, arbeitet aber auch bei Fremden zuverlässig. Manchmal wirkt sie etwas teilnahmslos, döst vor sich hin und träumt ein bisschen.
In ihrer Stutengruppe ist sie immer ein bisschen die, die einsteckt. Sie giftet sich den Weg nicht frei und meidet größere Konflikte, die Stuten, die sich nicht immer beweisen müssen verstehen sich mit ihr ganz gut und umgekehrt.
Bei der Arbeit funktioniert Alea, man kann ihr neue Sachen beibringen oder Bekanntes lange ausfeilen, hält man sie bei sich, hat sie die nötige Spannung. Schafft man es jedoch, sie voll für etwas zu begeistern, so gibt es kaum ein Pferd, das schneller auf Empfang schaltet. Feuer richt in ihr immer dann aus, wenn es an Hindernisse geht. Es wirkte fast, als der das Callistosche Temperament in ihr erloschen, aber wenn sie mit Hindernissen arbeitet, dann blitzt der Geist der Vorfahren immer wieder aus ihren Augen und kein Hindernis kann optisch anspruchsvoll, hoch oder weit genug sein.
