Nawari - bei uns Nari - ist zwar keine scheue, aber eine anfangs zurückhaltende Stute. Sie braucht eine Weile um aufzutauen, ist dann aber gerne mal schmusig und braucht sich nicht allein auf einen Menschen fixieren. Sie ist auch selten ängstlich, sondern eher neugierig, was ihre Umwelt betrifft. Ehe sie jedoch alles untersucht, beobachtet sie lieber erst aus sicherer Entfernung.
Im Umgang ist sie nicht besonders kompliziert: Sie lässt sich gerne putzen und durchkuscheln, genießt im Sommer Duschen und im Winter entspannt sie ganz locker im Solarium. Allgemein mag sie alles, was ihrem Komfort dienlich ist, entsprechend gestresst reagiert sie aber dann auch auf Hektik.
Unterm Sattel braucht sie eine Weile, um mit einem fremden Reiter warm zu werden. Dann ist sie allerdings hoch motiviert und reagiert fein auf Hilfen. Ihr ist recht egal, an was man arbeitet, Hauptsache es gibt etwas zu tun, denn unterm Sattel lässt sie gerne Dampf ab.
Auf Turnieren ist sie nur so lange unentspannt, bis sie unterm Sattel eine Aufgabe bekommt, dann konzentriert sie sich darauf und blendet alles andere aus. Solang man das nicht weiß und sich von ihrer Nervosität angesichts der hektischen Atmosphäre mitreißen lässt, schaukelt sich alles nur weiter auf.
