Der Rapphengst Manhattan kam schon als Fohlen zu uns auf den Hof, als er von seiner Mutter abgesetzt werden konnte. Ursprünglich wurde er auf der Stutenstation Friedrich gezüchtet. Schon früh merkten wir dass wir uns mit Manhattan einen richtigen Wirbelwind ins Haus geholt hatten. Auch heute fällt der Rappe oft noch durch sein aufbrausendes Temperament auf, das er ganz offensichtlich von seinen Eltern geerbt hat. Von seinem Vater A.T. Intermezzo FR xx hat er die feurige Art geerbt und auch das Verhalten unter dem Sattel. Von ihm kommt daher auch die Eignung für den Springsport, da auch Intermezzo schon wenig Interesse am Rennsport zeigte. Die Mutter FR\'s My Darling B hingegen hatte schon mehr mit der Rennbahn zu tun, aber das hat sich bei Manhattan einfach nicht durchgesetzt. Wir haben schnell gemerkt dass er einfach für den Parcours geboren wurrde und dass er sich dort am wohlsten fühlt. Deshalb haben wir beschlossen Manhattan vorerst auch nur im Springen zu trainieren und ihn dort auf Turnieren vorzustellen. Wir können uns jetzt schon vorstellen dass Manhattan uns sehr erfolgreich repräsentieren wird, da der Hengst voller Ehrgeiz und Siegeswillen steckt.
