Dieser hübsche Dunkelichtfuchshengst hat ganz schön Feuer im Hintern. Conner liebt es, über die Weide zu fetzen und Slalom zwischen den anderen Pferden zu laufen. Die macht er dabei manchmal nervös, aber das ist ihm egal. Hauptsache, er kann rennen, rennen, rennen.
Deshalb ist es immer ganz gut, wenn man ihn im Training konditionell gut beansprucht. Ausgiebiges longieren mag er genauso wie Bodenarbeitseinheiten – es darf nur nicht zu ruhig zugehen. Soll er etwas langsam und in Ruhe machen, wird er schnell ungeduldig. Hier muss man den kleinen einfach ein bisschen drauf trainieren, dass er sich länger auf eine Sache konzentrieren kann.
Trotzdem liebt er die Action, weshalb ihm Hindernisfahren mehr liegt als das Dressurfahren. Gegen fetzige Prüfungen vom Boden hat er ebenfalls nichts einzuwenden.
Mit Pferden, die auch so viel Energie haben wie er, kommt er sehr gut klar. Mit denen spielt er dann einfach gerne und liefert sich Wettrennen. Er ist ein fairer Verlierer, weshalb er auch mal gegen größere Ponys im Wettlaufen auf der Weide antritt. Sowieso als Begleitpferd im Gelände mit Ponys würde er sich auch gut machen. Auch eine Möglichkeit, ihn auszupowern.
Kinder liebt er, denn mit denen kann er auch gut spielen. Bei Erwachsenen ist er anfangs vorsichtig, aber hat man sein Vertrauen gewonnen, ist er ein lebenslanger treuer Begleiter.
