FINJA hat ein typisches, selbstbewusstes Ponywesen, zeigt aber auch genug Leistungsbereitschaft und ist dadurch vielversprechend im Sport. Jedoch darf man ihren Dickkopf nicht unterschätzen und muss ihr stets das Gefühl vermitteln, dass man genau weiß was man will und das auch durchsetzt. Nur die kleinste Unsicherheit oder der kleinste Verdacht, dass man gerade unkonzentriert ist, wird von der Ponystute schamlos ausgenutzt. Daher ist sie wirklich nur erfahrenen Reitern auf Turnieren zu empfehlen. Für Anfänger ist sie aber auch gut geeignet, da diese an ihr wachsen können. So lernt man schnell sich auf vom Sattel aus durchsetzen zu können.
Ihr Schwerpunkt liegt in der Dressur, aber dicht gefolgt vom Springen. Allgemein ist ihre Leistungsbereitschaft und ihr starkes Gemüt auch ein solider Grundbaustein, um sie für das Geländereiten einzusetzen. Allerdings braucht es auch da wieder einen erfahrenen Reiter, der sie sowohl anzutreiben, als auch zu zügeln weiß.
Als Mutterstute hat sich Finja bisher hervorragend gezeigt. Sie ist in der Herde verträglich und lässt ihr Fohlen Erfahrungen sammeln, unterstützt es dabei aber. Im Umgang mit Menschen bleibt sie gelassen und ist weiterhin der sture kleine Dickkopf, wie man sie kennt.
