Mila ist eine Stute mit ruhigem Gemüt und sehr verträglich mit anderen Pferden, da sie sich sofort unterordnet. Sie wirkt oftmals fast schon schüchtern - wenn man mal in menschlichen Charakterzügen denkt - und ist daher auf den ersten Blick eher unscheinbar.
Das sorgt im Dressurviereck auch dafür, dass man die Lektionen besonders gut reiten muss, um ihr Talent unter Beweis zu stellen und gute Noten zu bekommen, denn Mila neigt dazu sich klein zu machen.
Im Springen fehlt ihr die letzte Explosivität, ist aber vorm und überm Sprung umso korrekter, um ja keinen Fehler zu machen.
Mila liebt ausgiebige Ausritte und Spaziergänge und hat eine Vorliebe für Mangos und Bananen. Karotten und Äpfel werden auch genommen, aber nur, wenn es das andere gerade nicht gibt. Sie ist sehr wählerisch was ihr Futter angeht und hat ein Talent dafür ihr Heu mit Wasser zu durchtränken bevor sie es frisst.
