FR's Landor W ist schon jetzt anzusehen, dass er es später mal sicherlich weit in dem Springsport, aber auch in der Dressur bringen wird. Schon beim Beritt zeigte sich, wie munter, lebensfroh und aufgeweckt der damals junge Hengst war. Wenn man ihn schon einen Moment nicht beäugte, hegte Landor den nächsten Streich für den Reiter aus. Deshalb braucht der Oldenburger stets eine Beschäftigung. Seine schnellen, raumgreifenden Gänge sind ganz von Mama`s Seite vererbt. Doch auch zeigt sich, dass der Oldenburger keineswegs ein Pferd für die Anfänger ist! Seine Flause und das feurige Temperament, das eher seltener bei Warmblutpferden anzutreffen ist, machen so manchen Reitern schwer, in unter Kontrolle zu halten. Auch ist Landor W nicht leicht zu händeln, da es meist etwas schneller her geht, besonders im Gelände. Doch würde der Warmbluthengst nicht so weit gehen, dass der Reiter ernsthaft verletzt werden würde.
