Stjörnudís, dieser verheißungsvolle Name bedeutet nichts anderes als Sternengöttin. Eine Sternengöttin. Eine Stute, die durch Anmut und Eleganz überzeugt und nicht weniger edel ist als die leuchtenden Himmelsgestirne. Mag der Name doch etwas holprig klingen, zeugt er von Feinheit und Überlegenheit. Die Blue Roan Stute bringt alle Eigenschaften mit, die man sich an einem Islandpferd wünschen kann.
Die Stute in Sonderfarbe geht zurück auf Garpur von der Meereswoge, Vorzeigehengst des Gestüt Möhrentals mit Erfolgen, die bis zu einer Platzierung bei den World Championships reichen. In der Kombination mit Stute Efridís frá Háfjallinu, die ihre außergewöhnliche Farbe an ihre Tochter weitergegeben hat, zeigen sich die positiven Eigenschaften beider Linien. Stjörnudís wirkt eher großrahmig und langbeinig. Die sehr beweglichen Schultern der Stute, ihr stabiles Fundament und die aktive Hinterhand bereichern sie nicht nur mit einem herausragenden Aufwärtsgalopp, sondern auch mit einem raumgreifenden Naturtölt, der staunen lässt. Die Isländer Stute in Sonderfarbe besticht zudem durch ihre Lockerheit, die sie auf einzigartige Art und Weise mit einer stolzen Aufrichtung kombiniert.
Auch charakterlich entspricht sie absolut den Idealen eines Islandpferdes. Die Blue Roan Stute zeigt sich als stolzes und erhabenes Wesen mit einem hervorzuhebendem Selbstbewusstsein, ist aber dennoch sehr umgänglich. Interessiert an Menschen und neugierig auf so gut wie alles ist sie nicht nur sehr lernwillig und eine absolute Musterschülerin, sie ist zudem eine wahre Freundin, die sich eine enge Verbindung mit ihren Menschen erhofft. Sie setzt darauf sich auf diese verlassen zu können und bietet im Gegenzug an sich voll und ganz auf sie verlassen zu können. Egal ob im Training oder in der Freizeit, sie möchte mit dabei sein und auch mitdenken. Stjörnúdis ist ein Pferd für die große Bühne.
