Sirius ist ziemlich eitel. Auf der Koppel wälzt er sich so gut wie nie und beim Arbeiten gibt er immer sein Bestes, um möglichst jedem zu gefallen, vor allem Stuten, denen er ohne große Schwierigkeiten auch mal den Kopf verdreht. Durch seine Gänge ist er das perfekte Dressurpferd und unter dem richtigen Reiter kann er fast alles erreichen und beugt sich seinem Willen, wenn auch nicht immer ganz wiederstandslos.
Kommt allerdings eine Stute in seine Nähe, dreht der schwarze Andalusierhengst ziemlich auf, bei Hengsten hingegen ist er schon fast etwas feige, da er es hasst, wenn sein schwarzes Fell von Narben durchzogen ist.
