Ganz ohne Lipizzaner geht es immer noch nicht. Aber das Fohlen von Thalassa ist bereits das vorletzte Lipizzanerfohlen des Jahrgangs - unsere Lipizzaner werden meist recht früh im Jahr gedeckt, weil wir die Hengste in der Zeit nicht im Sport laufen lassen können. Die verbringen Tag und Nacht mit ihren Stuten in der Herde. Thalassa ist wieder eine Conversano Rosa-Tochter aus der Corvina. Sie verfügt über ein Bilderbuchgebäude, aber trotzdem fehlt es ihr leider an Geschlechts- und Rassetyp. Obwohl alles da ist, wo es sein soll, wirkt sie gern ein bisschen plump. Das kann auch damit zu tun haben, dass sie mit Vorliebe ihre Unterhalsmuskulatur trainiert und sowohl unter dem Sattel als auch vor der Kutsche und an der Longe nicht so richtig kooperativ ist. Für seine Rittigkeit ist unser S Neapolitano Serenata II zwar auch nicht bekannt, aber dafür hoffen wir, dass er zumindest im Typ Verbesserungen bewirken kann. Plump kann man den kleinen Neapolitano Thalassa jedenfalls schonmal nicht nennen. Rassetyp hat er auch, denke ich, er ist wieder ein Fohlen mit mehr Ramskopf als beide Eltern zusammengenommen. Wo die wohl immer herkommen? Da müssen sich irgendwelche Großeltern durchgesetzt haben. Neapolitano Thalassa ist wieder ein sehr barocker Vertreter und wir sind gespannt, wie er sich entwickelt - und ob er nicht doch ein bisschen zu besserer Mitarbeit bewegt werden kann als seine Eltern.
