Was soll man zu Brego – eingetragener Name Brego Carameo – schon sagen? Er hat schon als Fohlen alle Blicke auf sich gezogen. Die Farbe und sein Charakter hat er vor allem seinem Vater Bandmate zu verdanken. Eben typisch Hengst – hin und wieder ein bisschen sensibel, aber manchmal eben auch ein kleiner Macho. Was Brego definitiv von beiden Elternteilen geerbt hat, ist der Drang nach Action. Je schneller, desto besser. Schon als Fohlen rannte er in einem affenzahn über die Koppel, so dass Tara hin und wieder Schwierigkeiten hatte, ihren Sohn im Zaum zu halten. So ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass er vor allem für die Vielseitigkeit besonders geeignet ist. Hier erwarten wir Potential bis zur schweren Klasse.
Die tägliche Arbeit mit Brego sollte man definitiv abwechslungsreich gestalten, da er wie seine Mutter Tara zu viele Wiederholungen missbilligt. Da kann es dann auch schon mal vorkommen, dass der sonst so gut zu händelnde Hengst plötzlich ein wenig unberechenbar wird. Wer dies aber weiß und darauf achtet, hat einen Freund fürs Leben, der für seinen Reiter durchs Feuer gehen würde.
