Vom Körperbau entspricht Aina eher den alten, kräftig gebauten Haflingern; vom Wesen her bringt sie durchaus etwas Temperament und Scheue mit. Zu Beginn ist Aina etwas schüchtern, sie baut jedoch auch sehr schnell Vertrauen auf. Ihre größte Angst ist es, ihren Menschen falsch zu verstehen und etwas nicht richtig zu machen, daher gibt sie sich sehr Mühe und arbeitet meistens konzentriert mit, jedoch zögert sie manchmal und möchte eine Hilfe lieber zweimal hören, ehe sie diese ausführt. Wirklich bockig ist die Haflingerdame selten, widerholt man eine Übung jedoch zu oft, wird ihr langweilig. Dann lässt sich sich schon mal von jedem kleinem Vögelchen ablenken und reagiert schon mal zickig auf eine Zurechtweisung. Im Gelände ist Aina noch etwas schreckhaft, besonders auf ungewöhnte Geräusche wie raschelndes Plastik ist sie sehr empfindlich. Hier wird die Stute, die eigentlich mit einem guten Vorwärtsdrang ausgestattet ist, schon mal sehr langsam und schaut sich alles genauestens an, ehe sie sich vorbei wagt. Besonders fleißig geht sie vor der Kutsche, die sie scheinbar mit Leichtigkeit zieht. Obwohl Aina rangniedrig ist, versucht sie sich immer wieder zu wehren, was bei anderen Stuten durchaus problematisch werden kann. Vorallem wenn die Stute angebunden, eingespannt oder unter dem Reiter ist, heißt es bei anderen Stuten: Abstand halten. Obwohl sie sich mit Wallachen sehr gut versteht, wurde sie vorerst einspännig eingefahren, geht jedoch bestimmt auch mit männlichen Genossen im Gespann.
