Rita är mycket lugn och harmonisk, det är inte mycket som stressar upp henne. Kan dock vara lite reserverad vid kontakten med nya hästar och ryttare. Håller sig lite undan tills hon vågar sig fram och undersöka individen som finns framför henne. Låt henne få ta den tiden hon behöver i de lägena och gå inte bara rakt fram. Gör något i hennes omgivning så kommer hon snart fram av nyfikenhet.
Hon följer gärna efter någon annan, trivs inte att vara först i ledet. Att vara ensam vid uteritterna vill hon inte, skulle det vara att man rider ut med henne själv så kommer man snabbt inse att hon då kommer inte lämna stallplanen en meter, men får hon sällskap med sig så kommer hon njuta av omgivningarna som finns bortanför stallplanen.
