Poesie stammt aus der Sundancer-PRE-Linie, welche schon etliche Knaller in Sachen Zucht hervorgebracht hat. So ist Mutter Persica VII eher für das gute Nervenkostüm und Vater Cortes für die ausgezeichneten Grundgangarten verantwortlich.
Poesie glänzt mit guter Rittigkeit, doch auch das spanische Feuer lodert noch ein wenig in ihr. Das merkt man, wenn ihr etwas nicht passt. Ihr Willen kann sie bei einem unerfahrenen Reiter immer gut durchsetzen. Daher sollte man schon einen erfahreneren Reiter auf sie setzen, der die Stute auch mal fordert. Das ist ihr oftmals lieber als ob man sie mit Samthänden anfasst.
Besonders ihr Trab sowie ihr Feuereifer bei der Arbeit wurden ihr als Pluspunkt angehängt. In so manchen Dressuren zeigte sie, was sie konnte und ergatterte sich damit die ein oder andere Platzierung.
Dennoch geht sie auch gern ins Gelände. Dort sollte es allerdings nicht zu gemütlich werden sondern eher mit viel Geschwindigkeit und kleinen Sprüngen zugehen.
All das macht Poesie einzigartig und zu einer PRE-Stute mit viel Ausstrahlung und Charakter.
