Nostalgie ist eine ausgeweckte Stute mit viel Go. Schon als Jungpferd hat man gemerkt, dass sie ihren eigenen Kopf hat und sie immer mit Abwechslung bei Laune halten muss. Denn wenn es Nostalgie zu langweilig wird schaltet sie ab, macht Fehler oder verweigert die Arbeit ganz. Da die junge Stute viel Potenzial über dem Sprung zeigt sollte sie vor allem in diese Richtung weiter gefördert werden. Egal ob im Parcours oder auf dem Geländeparcours, Nostalgie springt alles mutig was man mit ihr anreitet. Mit ihrer großen Galoppade macht sie viel Boden gut und legt somit sehr gute Zeiten vor. Im Dressurviereck fühlt sich die Powerstute allerdings nicht ganz so wohl. Sie wird schnell zu hibbelig und unkonzentriert.
Im täglichen Umgang ist Nostalgie nicht so einfach. Sie testet ihren Reiter viel und wenn man sich nicht durchzusetzen weiß tanzt sie einem schnell auf der Nase herum. Wenn Nostalgie einen aber erst einmal als Führungsperson anerkannt hat dann geht sie für diese Person durchs Feuer. In der Herde verhält sich Nostalgie ebenfalls sehr dominant. Daher hat sie meistens die Position der Leitstute inne.
