Dieser stolze Dunkelbrauner ist eine richtige Augenweide. Mit seinen kraftvollen Galoppsprüngen fiel er schon als Fohlen auf und jetzt macht er umso mehr von sich reden.
Seine Sprungkraft, aber vor allem, seine Sprunglust ist enorm. Im Parcours merkt man richtig, wie er jedem neuen Hindernis entgegen fiebert. Ist er im Parcours lässt er sich schwer ablenken. Er scheint wie in einem Tunnel sein Ding durchzuziehen. Deshalb sind die Militarystrecken auch genau das richtige für ihn. Kein Vogel, kein Rascheln, kein Streckenzuschauer kann ihn aus der Ruhe bringen. Energisch und fokussiert, strebt er jedem Hindernis entgegen.
Problematisch wird es dann, wenn er den Kontakt zum Reiter verliert. Cosmo soll mitdenken, keine Frage, aber er soll nicht das Kommando übernehmen. Cosmos Reiter sollte sich durchzusetzen wissen, sonst landet der Reiter im Graben und Cosmo rennt einfach weiter.
Um den Hengst für sich zu gewinnen, braucht es einiges an Zeit. Cosmo ist distanziert und kann Streicheleinheiten gar nicht leiden. Ihm näher kommt man wirklich über das Training. Hier kann man Vertrauen aufbauen, indem man ihn fordert und fördert. Man muss genau in ihn hineinspüren, was er jetzt braucht – eine Pause oder nochmal Vollgas. Versteht man ihn zu lesen, wird Cosmo den Reiter ebenfalls lieben.
