More information
Conny ist der ideale Lehrmeister für junge ambitionierte Reiter. Er ist einfach zu händeln und sehr zuverlässig mit toller Nervenstärke. Bei der Arbeit ist er voll bei der Sache, wenn er entsprechend gefordert wird. Wird der Reiter nachlässig, geht auch der Antrieb bei Conny ein wenig verloren. Meist lässt er sich jedoch schnell wieder motivieren. Der eine oder andere Freudenbuckler im Gelände ist schon dabei, wenn er sich richtig auslaufen darf, im Viereck passiert soetwas jedoch nur sehr selten und ist meist mehr mit einem Hüftschwung vergleichbar. Mit seinem kurzen Hals neigt er manchmal dazu, sich einzurollen, weshalb er eine sehr feinfühlige Hand braucht. Dadurch ermöglicht er es seinen Reitern aber auch, ihre Gewichts- und Schenkelhilfen besser auszubilden, da er darauf meist sofort reagiert.
Im täglichen Umgang ist der Wallach wirklich sehr angenehm. Gemütlichen Spaziergängen kann er zwar wenig abgewinnen - vor allem, wenn er dabei nicht fressen darf - aber er macht sie genauso mit wie Bodenarbeit, Reitstunden oder was sonst so ansteht und sei es, dass er als Leinwand für Fingermalereien herhalten muss. Er ist sehr geduldig und liebt es, ausgiebig geputzt zu werden und wenn er einmal einen Tag länger stehen muss, hat er damit auch kein Problem.
